WE NEED MORE FRIENDS
The WCCM’s work of teaching Christian Meditation both in our region and the rest of the world is primarily a work of love and the spirit. Because WCCM is self-funded, however, the work also requires the financial support of caring meditators. Although no payment is required for the Region Six Newsletter, we request that all who are financially able support the work by becoming supporters or Friends of WCCM at the highest level appropriate to their circumstances.
With an annual donation of $25 or more, a supporter receives the quarterly International Newsletter/ US Update. The International Newsletter/US Update always features an inspiring message from Father Laurence. It also provides information about worldwide activities of the WCCM, including the Way of Peace initiative, and annual events such as the John Main Institute (this past August Mainz, Germany led by Cardinal Walter Casper, President of the Pontifical Council for Chirstian Unity), and the summer retreat at Monte Oliveto in Tuscany.
The Newsletter makes it clear that WCCM is active worldwide, and offers worldwide opportunities for enriching our contemplative life. Your donation will enable you to learn about and be inspired by WCCM’s efforts in support of Christian meditation. Most importantly, your donation will give needed support to these efforts
